your Q’s, my A’s: favorites
I’m still working my way through the questions y’all asked back on the Your Q’s, My A’s post.
There were a ton of favorite questions. I thought you knew I’m no good at favorites! Maybe that’s why you asked them. Hmmm….
Well, I’m gonna try to answer these quickly. First answer that comes to mind kinda thing. So it’s more like my favorite-of-the-moment. But that counts, right?!
Here goes:
Favorite food? Italian. Good Italian.
Favorite Starbucks drink? Right now… iced cinnamon dolce latte.
Favorite band? This. is. so. hard. for. me! I’mma go with Caedmon’s Call even though it’s been ages since I’ve listened to them…
Favorite book you’ve ever read? I wish I could look at my bookshelf to answer this! I’ve got such bad recall! // Fiction: My Sister’s Keeper, by Jodi Picoult // Non-Fiction: Next Generation Leader, by Andy Stanley
Favorite book you’ve read in the past year? Fiction: The Help, by Kathryn Stockett // Non-Fiction: Plan B, by Pete Wilson
Favorite movie? This seriously feels impossible! Let’s say… French Kiss.

Favorite Starbucks drink – well I don’t have Starbucks in Barbados – but the Italia d’Oro is a local coffee shop…. but since I don’t drink coffee I swoon over their crushed ice strawberry smoothies :)

Favorite book I ever read – Ok I can’t answer this one. I LOVE reading altogether….. anything and everything….

Favorite food? hummus quesadillas or vegetable fried rice.
Favorite Starbucks drink? so wish we had a starbucks here…but i’d say mint tea or vanilla chai tea
Favorite band? lately….jesus culture, adie, misty edwards
Favorite book? nope…can’t do this one. WAY too hard. but the most recent books i’ve read are her mother’s hope by francine rivers, abba’s child by brennan manning, plan b by pete wilson
Favorite movie? ummm, how about planet earth series and the movie that goes with it!
mother’s hope is the next book on my night stand to read. heard it was really good!

Favorite food: Nothing like a perfect, true Italian margherita pizza. Preferably eaten in the sun. In Italy! ;)
Favorite Starbucks drink: Nothing! No, really, I never go there. Coffee anything sends me soaring (not in a good way) for a good 2 days straight. I once got a chai latte there that was really good, though.
Favorite band: U2. Christian-wise, it’s Jason Upton, IHOP music, Twila Paris, Paul Wilbur and Petra (an oldie but goody that takes me back to my baby Christian days).
Favorite book I ever read: The Fire Of Delayed Answers by Bob Sorge.
Favorite book this year: So far, am loving The Happy Intercessor by Beni Johnson
Favorite movie: Like asking me to pick a child. A short (!) list would include Jerry Maguire, Broadcast News, Say Anything, Dead Man Walking, Witness, The Firm, Ordinary People, The Village, One True Thing and Quiz Show.

Favorite food? my favorite dessert is easier. it’s a three-way tie: huckleberry cheesecake, chocolate with cream cheese icing from Saint Cupcake in PDX, and The Chocolate Bag at Jake’s in PDX.
Favorite Starbucks drink? grande iced decaf non-fat carmel macchiato with light carmel but….i had an iced shaken green tea lemonade that was really good yesterday!
Favorite band? i like a lot of bands and songs. i just can’t choose!
Favorite book you’ve ever read? Goodnight Moon!! seriously this book is good! it takes a look at the little things all around us and acknowledges them. I like it!!!
