In a surprising turn of events, TheNorEaster swooped in and stole the 20K comment! Congrats, Nor!
I thought for sure that @ngie, Joy Renee, or Andrew (get a blog!) would have won it, with their ridiculously creative commenting this past week. And to be completely honest, I actually held out hope that a “real” comment would take it. Not to dismiss the fun I had with all the crazy banter. But, ya know. A girl can dream.

Well, I was kind of hoping for a “brOKen” bracelet–a lifeline when you’ve got “questions in the valley”–but then I realized it wasn’t on the list of prizes.

haha. No chance, really. He was firing a mile a minute. And you were watching ‘live’??? hahahaha. At 3:00 in the morning?! Well – I’m glad he won anyway. I think he deserves it for all that effort. :)
he WAS going fast. because in refreshing my dashboard page, i even missed getting a screenshot of 20,000 comments. when i refreshed and it showed 20,001, i was like “what the!?!?”
oh well. it’ll have to do! ha.
haha! Yeah – I think it did nicely. :) I can’t believe how many comments that guy got in in such a relatively short span of time. I tried to hijak his blog once and … it took a while! Even with having 4 tabs open, commenting on all of them in tandem!

As I was carousing my dashboard page it dawned on me that you revealed here on this post how many entries you have made. I see you are nigh unto 700 precious pieces of authenticity inspired postage. Got any plans for that? It might fall somewhere near your birthday. Or maybe closer to the 4th of July. How can we help you celebrate your 700th post, friend? Such a momentous occasion cannot be allowed to just slip by.
hmmm… i haven’t actually thought about it! i posted “my 100 things” for my 600th post. i have no plans for lucky #700! yikes. better get thinkin’!

Well, you have done duo-vlogs with other people. Maybe it would be fun to do a question and answer ditty. Do a blog to invite people to leave questions in the comment box that you MIGHT answer in a vlog. Then put together a video response.
Your salvation story with the 700 club might be appropriate. Personally, I would love to hear that.

Vlog notes:
The shorter the video the quicker the upload. Do you have a video editing program? We got a pretty cheap one that is easy to use. It is basic, but it does what we need it to do. That way you could cut the video down so you would only be uploading the vitals. The program we have is called Pinnacle.
The other thing to consider is the memory and speed of your computer. Increased amounts of these two things will ensure a quicker upload.
I imagine that most of your concerns lie in the speed of the internet connection. For that you could let it upload when you go to bed.
Since you bring it up… what serves you best in the WD-40 arena? In other words, what greases your wheels?
the “official” two-letter abbreviation for south africa is ZA… but i didn’t think that would be very clear either! ha!
i don’t have any video editing software. so we’ll have to see what i can swing amid the craziness that will be my few weeks there. not sure how feasible it even will be right now. but i do love the idea.

having had good convos with a friend (= good fooder for blog post thoughts)

my laptop.
i don’t honestly enjoy pausing to examine my own heart. i have to be intentional to do it because i naturally avoid it.
