I’ve been on vacation for almost a week. Well, kind of.
Being with my sweet friend Tracee felt like a vacation; the fact that we were in Ohio did not. (No offense, Ohioans. I’m guessing that even you’d prefer to vacate out of state!)
We talked about everything and nothing, and anything in between. And we set the bar high on doing absolutely nothing and enjoying every minute of it.
This much I know is true: Tracee is good for me.
And now I miss her. (Again.)
Vacation is over. Back to real life…

Colleen has a big night tonight so that I am sure will be the highlight of the week as she is honored for her work on the basketball team.

The only thing I really like about Ohio is Cedar Point, and even that is only open in the summer….I guess you have to go back to enjoy it then :) (Do you like roller coasters?)

My highlight was Torah Tuesday yesterday. :D You cannot believe how much fun I got from teaching Hebrew. I was giggling and clapping my hands. :) HAHA!!

mo — i love love love roller coasters. SweetFriend and i talked about that very thing! maybe, just maybe, she’ll wanna vacation in ohio again in a few months so we can hit up cedar point together.

I spent the weekend volunteering at a youth conference at the Ren Cen in Detroit. Got to see a lot of friends I haven’t seen in a really long time and made new friends. We went to Pizza Papolis in Greektown Saturday night and it was some of the best pizza I’ve ever had! I am still exhausted from the weekends work but it was worth it.
My highlight … not only surviving shot #2, but feeling God’s hand on my head as I breezed through it! WOW! 1st shot I thought I might be meeting Jesus … God is so good!
vacationing is definitely done out of state, when you live in ohio!!! i can’t believe our beautiful weather here wasn’t refreshing for you!?!
the highlight…having the last two days off and being able to stay at home with my daughter…we had a blast!!!
My girls came over last Thursday night and we’re finally starting our every-other-week faith sharing again. I’m so ready to see them all at the same time on a regular basis again!
Glad you’re back. Missed your heart like crazy.
On Monday I spent the day with my cousin and her son, unfortunately she also shares her house with six cats.
I got to have a home cook meal, fried pork chops.
It was a great day sharing laughter and fried pork fat. Yum, yum.
My cousin and I share a love of Latin music. Her son likes Heavy Metal and Punk. He was stuck listening to Smooth Jazz all day.
Ooh – glad I asked. Yes. Will resend.

Last Friday night and then Valentine’s night….. because for two nights in a row Jake and I got to hang out and spend some good time together. And Saturday was a fun comedy club night! with drinks! lots and lots of drinks! WOO!! ;-) heehee
so glad for you guys to have kidless time! PLUS drinks! cheers, friend! :)
Some friends “stopped by” and brought with them some love from my family. Yay!!!
