upside down
I’m driving today. For however long it takes to get from Columbus to Atlanta. A long time.
Syd’z is keeping me on the straight and narrow, and iPod is riding shotgun. Okay, I’ll let Cathi ride shotgun, as long as she lets iPod sit on her lap.
You’re invited to road trip with us, too. If you want.
I figured it’s an upside down kind of day. (Remember how that works? I comment. You write the post.)
Your comments will come through to my phone, so I’m hoping you’ll keep us all-chuckles all the way to the ATL.
So tell me something that would make me say:
That’s what she said!

FIRST!
(I just wanted to get the annoying side of me satisfied *before* I left for work.)
But, really… that also works for a TWSS joke… oops?
Well, Alece, I’ll tell you this. You’re an amazing woman! :-)
I hope that’s not what she said!
Okay… apparently there was something I didn’t “get” in all of this.
Why did Roo say this? Haven’t tons of us said this to Alece? So why wouldn’t one of us saying she’s amazing earn the comment of “That’s what she said?” Although…the rest of the comments are so un-decipherable and backwards-sounding to me, that it’s quite obvious that I missed something.
Color me clueless. Sorry I didn’t get it, Alece…but I was thinking of you.
@atangie says:
I am not going to touch this one, not with a ten foot pole.
Road trips are the best. Have a good one!
See you on the flip side.
Now, THAT is what she said! (any and all of the above)
I can’t think of anything else that would earn your comment…but I’m wondering when you left, and if you’ve reached the mountains of West Virginia yet. I LOVE driving through there!
@ventigrace says:
keep it rollin’, keep it groovin’… if that truck is a rockin’ (musically, of course!) don’t come a knockin’!!
I love you.
Its long and hard, but you will come out on top.
i laughed out loud in a mcd’s bathroom when your comment came in!
oh my dear heavens. *gah*
I would comment, but I’m too busy nesting…..
I guess everyone’s busy today, Alece. I am, too, for that matter, but I’m thinking of you, on the road!
Did you see some amazing sights of the cloud shadows slipping up and down the mountains? Are you still in the hills, or have you emerged onto the flatter portions of Georgia? Does Georgia still have mile upon mile of construction cones that look like they were forgotten in their places years ago, or are they actually WORKING on the construction? (It’s been a year and a half since I last faced Georgia Interstate Highway construction, endless stuff that it always was.)
And is your ipod still good company?
@traceepersiko says:
just wondering how long you will be in KY? TWSS
@traceepersiko says:
How long does it take to get to the dirty south? twss
I did like that one, Tracy. :-)
favorite!
take your time through Tennessee….it is beautiful….
that ride is hot and sticky! TWSS
i thought you’d be all over this one, muffin! (TWSS!)
Oh geeze.
You two are wonderful in so many ways.
