So glad you wrote that to danielle…I didn’t click on it more than once…I would have lost a whole lot of laughs but gained some time!

    Facebook or freerice.com

  8. Sarah says:

  12. Amy Joy says:

    Postsecret.com
    also Myspace
And I window/internet shop and put stuff in shopping carts that I never intend on paying for.

  13. bradruggles says:

Ok, this is going to make me sound like a complete idiot…but I just realized that your blog posts have been counting up! fourteen…fifteen…sixteen…

  14. Theresa says:

I will go to someones blog on my list and start to go through their blogging list. It is so fun to see all the different people.

It is also neat to see a blog list that has a bunch that I already read and then a bunch I haven’t ever read. It tells me that we pretty much like some of the same things. If they frequent these other blogs that I have never been too, that I may really like them.

  15. Theresa says:

OK the click click click on the frog…just plan wrong in a very funny kind of way. LOL

  16. Becca says:

I didn’t click on it until just now.
    Oh my.
    Hopkins, eh?
There are some funny people in the world. And I love reaping the benefits of their humor.

  17. Kelly says:

amy joy – THAT is awesome.

I thought I was the only one.

  18. Kelly says:

And apparently I waste time here: http://mike.whybark.com/archives/001951.html

’cause I just read the whole thing. wow.

  19. Brandy says:

what they heck was that frog thing?

You should have seen my face looking at it trying to figure it out. haha

Twitter. Twitter has taken over my life. And Facebook. Dang them both.

And email. yeah. Pretty much. ;-)

    Love you!

  20. Michelle says:

    Just blogging.

    I refuse to Twitter…refuse!

Although Picassohead and Bomomo can keep me entertained for hours! That’s kind of embarrassing to admit.

    Love you.

  21. Michelle says:

    OK. I just did it.

    That is hilarious!!!

    Does it ever end?

  22. Cindy Beall says:

Would you believe the twitter has caused me to waste some time? But I kind of like it.

  23. Lisa says:

    Love Etsy. Droooool……

I’ve also recently discovered Facebook, but haven’t signed up or contacted anyone. I think that’s what really sucks you in!!

  24. alece says:

brad — better late than never!

kelly — yeah, i’d read that, too, before i posted this. the whole thing is so bizarrely funny to me! and i can’t stop CLICKING!

brandy — did you click on it? and click again? and click again?

michelle — i’m refusing to twitter, too! and picasso and bomomo are entirely lost on me. i am not artistic in the least. so you can spend my share of time on there, too!

lisa — oooh. i’d never seen “etsy” before!

  25. Lisa says:

Run, Alece, RUN!!!!! Because believe me, if “I lost my frog” things cost you 17 minutes, FORGET the amount of time you can spend on Etsy!!

I love going to that site – it’s like wandering around the greatest crafts fair you could imagine. I find all that creativity incredibly inspiring, and soothing, too.

  26. alece says:

did you click on the froggy thing? and keep clicking? am i the only one so easily entertained by this!?!? :-)

  27. Amy Ellison says:

I clicked and clicked and clicked and clicked – waiting for a point… but I decided that for me the end of Hopkins must have been in the Hopkins flavored Ramen. Hopkins in me belly.

  28. alece says:

there is NO end to the hopkins. that’s the utter craziness of it. it just keeps going and going and going and…

  29. gitz says:

all the blogs in my netvibes + twitter = hours

And then at 9pm I realize, “Shoot! I’ve read blogs all day and don’t have one written for tomorrow!”

Hi, my name is Procrastination Polly. Nice to meet you.

Oh wow – I thought I was the only anti-tweeter out there!

Hmm… my clear-my-head-doing-a-mindless-activity activity online would be editing photos on Picnik. (that looks like it is spelled wrong but I I am not going to ‘waste’ time checking if it is or isn’t… I am just going to leave it there… right or wrong… it doesn’t matter to me… really… I am fine not knowing… )

The other thing would be watching pirated videos or YouTube funny stuff like commercials and stand up.

  31. that’s right Terry!! you get yo’ frog! him was the bestest hoppin green frog i done ever did see!

  32. i think i became hopkin because i clicked so much! oh and i spend too much time browsing REI website.

  33. i clicked like 10 times and i still didn’t get it.

    i’m sorry.

    i get things usually.

    i’ll try again. =)

  34. alece says:

    just keep clicking.

    there IS no point.

    maybe THAT’S the point!

  35. annie says:

    blogging.

    for sure.

And I refuse to twitter as well.

Hopkins sure is loved there ….

  36. Laura Wood says:

    EEEEEEEEEEEBBBBBBAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYY!

    : )

  37. Debra says:

Okay, I am a little slow … just clicked, and clicked, and clicked … pretty clever.

And, I refuse to twitter or facebook … blogging takes up enough of my time … but it sure is fun, especially with you guys!

  38. alece says:

    i love me some facebook…

  39. weird. Why would anyone wanna make something like that.

    I don’t get it.
    But glad you do! :)

  40. alece says:

maybe i’m not as deep as the rest of you because i haven’t even thought of it in terms of something to “get”. i just keep clicking and clicking and it just makes me laugh.

the real story is that an autistic child had lost his stuffed from and posted that “missing” sign in his neighborhood. somehow it’s turned into an online phenomenon with new pictures about hopkins the green frog being made and added to that site all the time.
