just me: fifty words
I am a daughter, a sister, a wife.
I am a leader and a follower.
I am quiet and loud, honest and guarded.
I am a writer, a reader, a teacher, a learner.
I am a missionary, a mamoruti (a woman in ministry), a friend.
But mostly, I am His.

I enjoyed this- and I love the new banner!
You are so a writer.

Hey Alece, I have an anecdote to go along with your request that we submit 50 words about ourselves. (Danielle, you might remember this.)
We were sitting in our tent getting to know each other, the girls of my group and I. We had converged on Africa to minister for a month and we would be sharing close quarters so I wanted the girls to be comfortable. I told them that they had had to take turns going around the circle saying one encouraging thing that they had noticed about each person in our little group. But the catch was that she had to end by saying something good about herself. Each girl did great with the others, but when each came to herself she had to think about it. Such sweeties!
So, I am going to go and think about this and get back to you. ;-)
Here are my 50 words …
I am a sheep following the ONLY Shepherd. Saved by grace. Walking in faith. Hanging with Jesus. Loving my family. Daughter. Sister. Friend. Mother. Wife. Lover. Teacher. Learner. Striving to do my best for Him. Falling down. Skinning my knees. Taking His hand and getting back up. Perfect in Him.
Done!

Angie Lynn Washington is connected to many people. The ties which bind take many forms: wife, mama, daughter, sister, missionary, writer, encourager and friend are a few. Yet the one Cord that keeps her life from coming pulled apart has one simple name: Love. God’s love allows her to love.
Although I’m a bit stretched for time right now to try and write one, I just wanted to say that I thought this was beautifully written, and it’s amazing how much you can communicate about yourself in just 50 words. God bless.
btw…this is one of the best therapies I use for self-actualization! Way to go…you did great!!! You have a great self-identity!!! ;)
I’m a loser.
I counted to make sure there were 50 words.
Ha.

becca & @ngie — so… did i pass the test? wordpress’s word count told me i did, but i didn’t bother to count for myself!
anna — did you send an email? i didn’t get one…
@atangie says:
It really wasn’t a test for me… more like one of those OCD things; like when I count the steps I go up and down, or when I eat all the broken chips first and save the whole chips for last, or like when I have to set and then reset the alarm clock because I don’t think that it will go off if I set it just once… you know – that kind of thing. :-)
you eat the broken chips first!??! wow. i definitely save those for last…
:)
Sorry, Alece, I just sent your email to you. :)
