I haven’t much to say lately.

But I’ve read some great stuff. Like this, this, this, and especially this.

Thought maybe you’d want to peruse… If you do, I’d love to hear your thoughts.

Thanks for the links! The last two I found so wonderful, I wanted to comment myself. The leadership one I wanted to send over to my husband – he doesn’t read blogs. The first one about Mother Theresa … I’m on the fence. The fact that I’m glad some are encouraged by her life of feeling distant and abandoned by God is juxtaposed against the feeling that … hmmm … well, that … I don’t know how to say this without sounding harsh or high handed. Doesn’t the Bible command us to rejoice? Doesn’t the Bible say the joy of the Lord is our strength? Doesn’t the Bible say He will never leave us or forsake us? Doesn’t the Bible say that He lights our darkness? I feel as though on some level, she was ignorant of these truths, or they would have fought on her behalf. Truth is what dispels doubt. I can admire her perseverence in the things she knew was good and right to do … but without knowing that there was a loving Father on the other end of that obedience who loved her just as much as those she touched … it amounts to not much more than a kind of slavery. We are not called as slaves to God, but as sons and daughters. I can’t help but think that she never truly felt like a daughter of God. That makes me sad.
