Hopefully, neither of those two human NEEDS overrode the Soul’s need?

Also that only healthy outlets for those needs were met?

i doubt either case was 100% true.

Hopefully Audrey was regardless able to learn what she came to learn from her experience on Earth.

    Hopefully we will also?

If we listen to the voice inside over those from outside., where it/those can be shown to be for our eternal life and not just for this one.

I love this woman!! I used to have her collected art until I sold it. I’ve always held onto her quotations. Always. This quotation is so eloquent.

Knowing that this women almost died in world war 2 of starvation and then became a queen of the screen by her presence. Knowin that this women suffered self image problems until her 50″s.

She then at 50, after her kids were gone and gone through a divorce, she stopped acting and became the biggest ambassador of UNICEF. Inspires me @42, I still have a voice to change the world……….she did.

I too.. was born with a need for affection, and I NEED to give it away…
Love you Alece, I wish I was their to give it away!

  4. mmm…hugs are good. wish i could give you one this morning!

Sometimes there are so many things that a hug communicates that words never do.

And at times when I find my arms are empty, Jesus wraps me up in His love that it feels like a tangible embrace.

I just read this quote a couple days ago!!!

  9. It seems more like a wonderful need instead of a terrible one! Love this quote!!! :)

Love the quote from a beautiful human being. Both you and Audrey.

It can be harder to accept love than to give it.

The great thing about a hug is that it is a simple act brings so much joy to our hearts.

    I love you.
Wish I were there. Or you were here.
    Or we were anywhere close.

i love this woman. one of the most classy ladies to have lived!

sometimes i hate admitting that i need affection. its weird. cuz i do need it. im human. but its much easier to give it.

    why is that?

Isn’t it cool even after almost 9 months we are still excited about learning something new about each other :) ?

(BTW.. that beach picture with the fallen tree, I so could take a thermos of pumpkin latte and sit there and write.)

  17. alece says:

confession: i’m a selectively affectionate person.

but i know i’d hug you!

    Tam – i’m no expert ;-)

but in your case i suspect because it’s much ‘safer’ when you are the one ‘in control’ ( by giving/initiating affection) and can have more assurance how the affection is going to be displayed back to you.

Something learned from childhood no doubt. :-)

Maybe a new lesson could be learned by asking for affection?

Or maybe what you had to learn was: seeking human affection can sometimes be a dangerous unhealthy thing – as are many humans today on this planet.

Seek affection first from Him and perhaps that will be ‘sufficient’ for your earthly life?

Maybe that was why women once placed themselves in a Nunnery, or an Abbey? so they could seek His affection first – safe from human corruption?

Of course, that is not for everyone today – is it? ;-)
