Most of them require more heart and thought than I have to give tonight, but there are some random questions I’m gonna force myself to answer quickly. If you know much about me, you know I’m not good with off-the-cuff answers. I think it’s because of the whole favorites thing… And the fuzzy brain thing… And probably a few other things as well…

The ability to backspace when I’m speaking like I can when I’m writing…

ha! that surprised me. The whole urinal thing. I think it would be… interesting (?)… to not have to hover in a public washroom. :) And guys always seem to be faster than ladies when they use the washroom. Maybe it’s just cause they don’t wash their hands. I mean… mhm. But of course… it would be even better if the urinal were actually in a stall. Anyway… maybe I shouldn’t have shared that “dang – if only…” thought.

*X-ray vision so I could really see into people’s hearts, their motivation, what encourages them, what people are thinking, feeling, what discourages them… so I could come alongside and be an encouragement, uplifter, etc.

*TV, Movies, knit, read, play with the pugs, make movies on my mac. Write.

Let’s see…my superpower: Mary Poppin’s house-cleaning finger-snapping (that can cook, too), which would leave more time for: reading, writing, fiddling around on the Internet, gardening. I…would probably be a handshaker if it weren’t for the fact that all the women in my church and family are huggers, so I’ve become that…but it doesn’t feel natural, really. I’d prefer hugging was more private. Middle name: Marie. And I love being a girl because I don’t have to shave my face, trim my nosehairs, pull hairs out of my ears, and be tempted by all the scantily-clad women in today’s world. Actually, I have a lot of sympathy for guys.

So my mind was taken back to a Washington Redskin/Dallas Cowboy game years ago in the older stadium. The men’s room was basically a trough running along the walls like a gutter on a house. Multiple lines formed and one has to wait for about 8 guys in front of himself. I was ok until my turn arrived and then… I froze. I think 5 guys on either side must have step-up, gone, and left before I relaxed. I could feel the glares on the back of my neck from the guys in my line. It’s kinda like stage-fright, I think.

Agreed! I can think of many times where that would’ve come in handy.
My first thought was “Nancy’s not a middle name!” hehe sorry but there are a lot of boring middle names around here.
Superpower um I’m going to go with the power to grant wishes including my own.

I’m not a hugger unless I really like you. I used to be more of a hugger but now it mostly creeps me out. I’m a big fan of the mexican greeting were u shake hands and put one cheek together and do a pretend kiss in the air or if u know the person really well u can give a real kiss on the cheek. Otherwise handshaking is just dumb.
Middle name is Marie which I will pass on to my girl (if I ever have one) after my Grandma but its not my favorite name by far so maybe I should have my girls middle name be grandma.
Being a girl is too great to just choose one so here we go: being a mom, having boobs and multiple orgasms! (ooops can I say that? Oh well just get Brandy to comment now and we will be on our way to some very funny comments)

first of all, very true about the urinal. I would have to say getting to wear cute high heels. I wish I had more. My favorite ones: red ones (they go well with black/white outfits!)
Superpower: I kinda like Jenny’s answer of being able to discern how to encourage others. Maybe its also a spiritual gift…

Girl: Aside from child bearing and looking amazing in a dress, it is socially acceptable to gorge myself on salad… wierd I know. I love vegetables.
I love your choice in superpowers! Can I take that? There have been so many times in my life that I have wished I could hit the rewind button!
Superpower – In addition to rewind, I would choose invisibility. I’m just too nosy. I reallly would like to know what people are saying when I’m not around! I might not like it though!
To relax – TV or computer, but unscheduled visits with friends are the BEST!
Hugs or handshakes – I go back and forth on this one. I used to be a hugger totally. Now sometimes it weirds me out, like, does this person really WANT me to hug them? this is awkward. should I or shouldn’t I? Idunno. Basically I AM a hugger though. Especially with another hugger!
Middle name – Lynn. Seriously, have you ever met a Terri whose middle name was NOT Lynn? In all my 46 yrs I’ve only met ONE and her middle name was Elizabeth! I have a friend at church named Terri and in her husband’s family she is one of 3 Terri’s (T1,T2, and T3!) and all of them have Lynn for a middle name!
Best part of being a girl? – having babies and getting to cover zits with makeup. OH, and girl friends. And daughters. But I have to admit, I envy the peeing-standing-up thing too!

yes. coz my mom decided to name all her daughters CHRISTIANNE (im the original coz im the oldest)…there’s 4 of us. we all have different middle names…which we use instead of using our 1st names.

Okay the whole spatlo thing, we ate them a lot in Hammenskraal SA. Like.. 30-45 mins outside Pretoria. I’m not 100% where you are in relation to that. And Capetown it was a hit. (Capetown is my favorite place in the entire world. gahhhhhhhh.)

Love about being a girl–intuition . . . I know there are guys who are more intuitive, but I love being able to have that “I just know” feeling about people and situations.
1) Whistling (can’t do it well on my own).
2) Twitter, TV, reading (sometimes books, usually maps)
3) Hug most of the time, though with dudes about all we can muster is a handshake, though there are exceptions.
4) I’ll insert my own gender here and say I like that I don’t have to fit the stereotype of my gender – you know, the clueless uninvolved one.
And, I may be breaking cross-gender decency rules and maybe a man code, but I’ll share a secret with you from the men’s room: We usually look up and away from each other or do a man-nod when at the urinals at the same time. There’s generally not any hovering going on.
