four-minute friday: pablo
Go.
Last week at Hope House (the orphanage we work at each Friday) the interns told the story of Paul’s conversion. Matt narrated and Shannon played a very dramatic Paul. (You’ve gotta overcompensate when you’re the wrong gender for the part…)
After explaining how God got Paul’s attention and asked him to “work for Him”, Matt asked the kids how they thought Paul responded.
One girl raised her hand. “He said, ‘Yes’.”
“That’s right,” Matt replied. “And what do you think God said next?”
There was a long pause. A little boy stood up to answer. “He said, ‘Thank you.’”
Classic.
Done.

adorable!!!
kids keep it simple. i love it!
That is so sweet!
I imagine God would be gracious to us … especially some of us more hard-headed ones … and is relieved and happy to say thank you when we finally get it.
Might even throw an alleluia or two in for extra effect :)
Wish I could have seen the play :)
gitz — it was a sight to behold, that’s for sure!
I love it when kids give God good manners! My girls are concerned over whether they will still get to eat food they like when they get to Heaven.
Thanks for the comment on boots – I’m pretty sure my footwear would change if living in Africa. Considering we only have about 2 months of summer, warm footwear is important! :)
what seminary are they sending that video too?!? there’s a great lesson there…why do we make it so hard at times???

To have ears to hear fresh and unencumbered like a child would be a great gift.
