four-minute friday: light and fluffy

Go.

I wanted to four-minute about something light and fluffy. Mostly because I’m wiped out and don’t have energy for anything of substance. Besides, it’s Friday! We can all do with some extra light and fluffy in our day.

But all I keep hearing in my head is the little girl on “Despicable Me”: “It’s so fluffy I’m gonna die!”

Have you seen it yet? It’s cute. And 3-D. And that whole fluffy-unicorn bit is hilarious. Seriously. Watch the clip. You’ll find yourself repeating “It’s so fluffy!” in that creepy funny voice of hers.

Cracks me up every single time!

Anyway…  Clearly in need of blogging assistance, I sent out a tweet asking for light and fluffy post ideas. What did I get back?

Marshmallows. Angel food cake. Cotton candy. Whip cream.

Y’all are one hungry bunch. You fit right in around here! Ha.

So now we ended up with four minutes of basically nothing. Just like how cotton candy melts away into nothingness in your mouth. Minus the sugar high.

Oh geez. This is going downhill fast.

Calling it quits. And calling on you to tell me something light and fluffy…

Ready? Go!

Done.

    Light and fluffy?

At work today, the Google thought I needed an ad for a Geek to Geek dating website. Not sure if I should be offended or try it. Thoughts?

    Happy friday!

  2. 1st thing that popped into my head:

my nice light and fluffy pillows that are on my bed right now.

it’s 3:30pm and im so very sleepy.

i wish i was drooling and snoring away right now instead of trying to keep my eyes open here at work.

I love the minions. They’re so cute, cuddly and funny.

So I was spray painting at work yesterday… about halfway through the project I started craving doritos… you do the math on that one. :)

  5. I made four-minute friday, I made four-minute friday…ha ha! Well, the angel food cake was me, but a nice fluffy pillow DOES sound great too! I felt half-way unemployed for a while and now I’m back to my regularly scheduled 12-hour-shifts and my body just doesn’t know what to do! I hadn’t seen a movie in FOREVER, but did bring my two foster girls to see that movie last week and it was cute (although, I must admit that I did cry…had no clue the girls in the clip were orphans and all they wanted was a loving family…I’ll take them, I’ll take them…ha!)

Oh, and cotton candy=yum :) Marshmallows too :)

    Super fun!
    Take care.

    • 12-hour shifts?! exhausting!

      • Oh yes, 12-hour shifts ARE exhausting! These past three days have worn me out, so I’m VERY thankful that my 15-year-old foster daughter is so helpful AND that her nearly 3-year-old sister is VERY well-behaved! But, working 12-hour shifts means that working three days a week is full time, so I don’t complain about them on my days off during the week :)

    Alece,
I am feeling in need of something light and fluffy as well. I am hitting a wall with this whole summer of surgery thing. Have you seen Horton Hears a Who? That is light and fluffy and very funny.
    Officially not a lurker,
    Catherine

I want some Cheetos puffs. Like, NOW.

What’s invisible and smells like carrots? Bunny farts.

Hmmm. There’s a definite orange theme going on here.

Slinking away now before I embarrass myself any further………

  9. Light and fluffy…
My mother’s puppy came into the living room yesterday and started nipping gently at my nephews leg. My nephew yelled “sambuca – I’m not a chew toy!” It was one of the cutest things ever. He’s pretty witty. And not even 3 yet. :) Love that dude.

  10. This made me think of pillow fights full of sneak attacks and laughter with my kids :-)

    I always win :-)

I love the analogy of cotton candy. sometimes my favorite things you write are about nothing at all. you should write a book….id read it! you are great with words.

I was at the library once using the computer and I crapped my pants.

Not light or fluffy. But all heavy and squishy.

And I wear boxer shorts so it ran all down my leg and left a trail.

Worst part was I thought the librarian was gorgeous, but after that I wouldn’t dare talk to her.

I couldn’t even sit down on the way home, my butt just felt so nasty.

I’m slimming, so I’m not allowed anything light and fluffy :(

So yes, right now, all my light and fluffies would be cake and fairy floss. (Or whatever you lot call it…spun sugar? Candy floss?)

  14. light and fluffy is my laundry that’s in the dryer, but it won’t be fluffy for long if i don’t fold it. wrinkly works for me, though.

    Light and fluffy….

I sang at this week’s camp meeting, barefoot.

I took my bff with me to the gym and we sat in the sauna and talked.

I’m packing today to head back to the field.

Last night my Love ran to the store to pick up a last minute item that I wanted to take back with me—-a feather duster. It has a wooden handle and Ostrich feathers. I cannot tell you how in love I am with this wonderful little item!

  16. Light and fluffy….. hmmm… my heart feels light and fluffy from the words that Papa God spoke into me and out of me on my blog yesterday. I love when the musings of my heart touch the soul of another… it’s a light and fluffy moment for me. I stand amazed at how God could take my broken down story and breathe life into it and then touch another. It just leaves my heart light and fluffy!

The clouds today over san diego are light and fluffy, and so is this clam chowder on the pier.

I am not at a “light and fluffy” point in life right now….so…. no light and fluffy here! ;o) Unless you count the FLUFF I’m sure I gained eating crap like crazy this week. Stress eating, never good! LOL!

hmmm…. light and fluffy, light and fluffy….. I’ve noticed a HUGE difference in the boys this summer and it’s b/c they’re all together all of the time. Minus the “stuff” with Aidan, they are overall getting along better and have been much more caring and compassionate than they were before. It gives me hope that this whole “doing everything together” thing we’re heading into (homeschool) will really benefit the relationships in our little fam. Okay, that was deep and fluffy…. SEE! I can’t do it! haha!

  19. thanks…now I’m totally craving cotton candy! ;)
