We went to a show downtown on Saturday. Having SweetFriend with me for my first concert in America in over twelve years was a gift. And, let me tell you, we had so much fun.
Apparently Mr. Man in front of us could tell we were having a blast. About 3/4 of the way through the night, he turned around and said—
“You guys definitely know how to have a good time. I think you’re having more fun than anyone else in here.”
Really!? We didn’t think we were being loud or ostentatious at all.
Despite the fact that I can now say I’ve danced on a bar.

That is HYSTERICAL. And I’ve never danced on a bar… but I have WATCHED someone dance on a bar – my husband’s former boss, on a boondoggle trip, one drunken night (him, not me) in Mexico.
haha… I’ve ridden the mechanical bull (for like 3 seconds, then I was flying), but I’ve never danced on a bar!

Hey, I saw Matt Wertz before in concert in KC…I have his sticker on a suitcase of mine. So fabulous. I love random – randomness. Ha ha…that is so funny that you swayed beside a bar. I walked by a bar once. I even talked to a bartender once…but only to ask where the loo was.
I echo Heidi’s comment…. “I wish that’s all I did!”
Actually, I take that back. I had fun. HAHA!!!
So, did you hop up onto the bar? You can say you bar hopped then. heehee

True Confessions:
A couple friends and I were known for dancing on the bar (not sitting and swaying) to Brick House at one of the college bars in town. It was Pavlovian… someone would request the song and we’d be on the bar.
Good times. I was never very shy. :)

There was once a mechanical surfboard at a bar I was at once, back in the day, and that was soooo much fun! I was reminded of it with the mechanical bull comment (which I have also done) Ahhhhh…the good ol days. hehehehehe

That has to be the first time I’ve heard that having fun sort of somewhat almost kind of maybe spoiled the fun!!!
You guys are funny…. I have never bar hopped, nor danced on a bar or a table… I am not really all that outgoing. Well, back in the day that I actually drank alcohol, the alcohol did cause me to do some crazy things I would not ordinarily do.
