Choose Joy Ink Link

This is a space where you can share your Tribute to Sara Tattoo for all to see…

If you decided to get a Choose Joy tattoo, we would love to see it! Please link up to the tweet, blog, pic, or video you post on the Interwebz about it, so we can all celebrate Sara’s life and legacy together.

[Be sure to link to the specific post and not your blog homepage.]

If you have chosen to use any of the Choose Joy designs, please email Trevor and let him know. He worked into the wee-hours of the night doing this for Sara. Such a gift. I think it would mean a lot for him to hear and see what became of it all…

I’m grateful for my reminder. God knows I need it…

  1. I love that you did this. I think I have like 4 index cards posted up around my house now reminding me to choose joy. Not that I need to see them, now. It’s resounding through my head and my heart on repeat. But next week, next week I’ll need to read them. And next month I’ll definitely need the reminder.

  2. That looks beautiful, Alece. I am in the design process of my own Choose Joy tatt. I have my elements all decided, surrounding the Choose Joy handwriting. If my vision comes out, it will say Choose Joy, obviously. But also choose Jesus, choose love, choose peace. The biggest challenge will be to able to afford the tatt within my budget. Thank you for sparking the imagination and inspiration by sharing Sara’s story.

    • i cannot wait to see what you come up with, doug!

I’m doing the same….. choose joy fonts with the placements altered a little, but I’m adding some of her doodles/artwork to it. I’m excited to see my final project….. and since I can’t get in until November for it (ahhhh!) I have time to make it just beautifully perfect. And I want color for the doodles and artwork.

I have read sara’s blogs and they hae helped me so much. We commented back and forth but nothing more than a Internet connection but she has changed my life along with so
Many others. I think I will have to get this as well on my wrist but it will be some months from now I will be sure to share it with y’all.

Alece, What a wonderful tribute to precious Sara…I am one of many whose life has been so deeply touched by her spirit of grace and beauty. You mentioned the possibility of a jewelry line in her honor? Ann V showed the ring that Sara gave her with such a loving sharing of the story behind it. …a simple silver ring with so much meaning. Do you think something like that could be made available? It has no writing, just a simple, imperfect ring. I would love to wear one and tell others about Sara. thanks for considering it.

that’s big for you.. I remember you getting your first tattoo. I’m glad someone has influenced you to such a degree. I’m thankful for others in your life and sorrowful as it comes to an end. as you once told me, people are a revolving door in your life.. maybe that’s not so bad as it first sounded. a revolving door of loving, exquisite people isn’t such a terrible thing. (:

I really love your tattoo. I know it is a memorial one, but also a very good reminder in general.

    Love ya-
