hi punkin

This has always been one of my favorite pumpkin displays, for sheer creativity alone:

too much to drink on halloween

But I’ve got a new favorite.

Matt, who works with me at Thrive, is in the States on furlough right now. And I could tell he’s missing his African home when he showed me the pumpkin he carved:

thrive pumpkin 2

Way to represent, Mo!

I didn’t carve a pumpkin this year. Unless this counts.

Did you carve one? Can I see???

LOOOOOVE that pumpkin! Praying that someday we’ll get to go to Thrive Africa and hang with you and work and play. In the meantime, praying for Thrive Africa and all the amazing things God has planned for you and that ministry.

Did I mention I LOVE that pumpkin. Love you, too!

what a great pumpkin! we didn`t technically crave a pumpkin unless you count cutting it up into small pieces to make homemade pumpkin pie for our october thanksgiving with my parents.

woah. i’ve never had pumpkin anything made with real not-out-of-a-can pumpkin.

but i gotta admit. i’m not a fan of pumpkin pie. it’s a texture thing i think. but i do make some killer pumpkin squares (with cream cheese icing) that i l-o-v-e.

I *think* that will take you to my pumpkin. LOVED that! haha! I’m no fan of real pumpkin carving though. I was always the kid throwing a fit that I had to do it with the fam. Jake on the other hand LOVES it. Last night he and the boys carved the pumpkin Dylan got at school while I took a snooze. heeheee I figure that can be their thing with Daddy every year. ;o)
